They say its spooky...but I say its clever...?What do you say?

I want to join everyone in on a discussion we are having and see what everyone thinks. An elderly lady in our neighborhood has been victimized several times since her husband ped by thieves and vandals. She went out one day and got a male mannequin and dressed him up and put a hat on him. She strapped him into the seat belt in the back seat and never goes anywhere without him. Since she has had him she hasnt been bothered at all. People ume she is not alone because they see what looks like a very tall and muscular man in the car with her. Do you think it is creepy or clever. I think it was a very wise thing to do!
