Christians who accept evolution: how are Christianity and evolution agreeable?

The Bible in no way contradicts evolution. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth! When Genesis is translated correctly it actually confirms evolution! Thus, both Christians and science agree and this gives ENORMOUS credibility to the Bible! In Genesis it says that everything was created in 7 days, but days correctly translates to 'periods of time.' You should also know that the word 'create' actually translates to mean 'created that which created!' Having 'created that which created' sounds like evolution, doesn't it? The problem lies in the fact that our churches aren't doing their homework on language translations! If they would just do a little study, it would give them the credibility that they need and deserve - and they would also agree with science.
