i find it surprising but it's hard to judge people just by their appearance in the public scope anyway, so myth-shattering is definitely quite an exaggeration...but it's clear that either way, his heart was in the right place almost every time, i know a lot of people that sometimes have some control issues, so i don't think this is exactly a rash nonconformity or something
