My lovebird fell and hurt its legs.?

she fell very weirdly an hit the ground i heard her squawk in pain so i pick her up and her legs can't move now she doesn't squawk in pain any more but she can't put weight on them her feet work and she can grasp things she just can't put weight on them... PLZ HELP?!! MY LITTLE BIRD NEEDS YOUR ADVICE!! :'( P.S i took her to a vet and he said she just needs time but its been like 4 months help me plz!
