What should I say if he asks me about it?

So, if my crush asks me about liking him after my friend tells him I like him and he seems interested should I flirt and act cute or something like that. But, what should I do if he tells me he doesn't like me like I like him. So, far I think I should hide my eyes behind my bangs because they always give away what I'm really feeling and thinking and just say "I don't want to talk about it." and walk away. Or, should I say something sarcastic or whatever like "Jacob is on drugs and is trying to play Eros with my love life." or "Ry, we are from two completely different worlds. Your sports and hip hop while I'm music and grunge. I'm not one of your little cheerleaders and I'll never be. So, what makes you think I would have a thing for you?".
