Steve and his ex-boss?

Not sure what the question is. If you're asking if Steve should tell his father, I don't see any reason why a limited description of the actions should be a problem, but he has the right to simply not discuss it. He can say, "Dad, there are a lot of unpleasant things that happened that I don't feel comfortable talking about. Let's just avoid the topic."
