What does it mean to have several crows surround you and caw as you walk through them?

I was walking toward my car to go to work this morning when I noticed a few crows above me on the lines and some pidgins on the ground. Suddenly, more crows flew above me as I walked along the sidewalk. As they surrounded me, perched on the trees and power lines, I kept walking and suddenly they all starting cawing all at once! I felt like I was in an eerie movie and that it was some kind of an omen or sign (not exactly a "bad" one but definitely significant). I felt as if the crows were talking to me and as soon as I ped through them and crossed the street they stopped squawking! Does anyone know what this could possibly mean?
