What are some cool fashinable clothes I can buy to make me look good?

I'm a guy and I'm 17 years old. I have always been bad with fashian. Every year I look back at myself and say wow look at what I was waring. So I recently started shopping at a tillys near my home and I think I look good with the type of skater clothes or brands. So I was wondering is there any clothes that make you look fresh, new, cool. Like the clothes from tillyes, in my opinion those clothes are cool. But they are kind of expensive so if you know a cheaper place with same style or better let me know please.
