I have a 93 Toyota corolla that has a key that wont go past the ACC position when trying to turn the car on. I bought a new key thinking that it may just be a worn, bent key issue, but the key actually has trouble getting to the ACC position. As far as I know the tumblers in the ignition are the main issue, but as I like to dream of a non-$250 repair, I was hoping that someone had an idea as to an alternate idea as to what might be wrong or might fix it. Thanks!
