20 year old guy, never dated/had a gf, pathetic?

Hey i was just wondering what girls think of a 20 year old guy who has never had a girlfriend or dated, do you consider it pathetic? I dunno im a sweet guy, i'd dare say attractive, im just a lil shy, i guess nice guys do finish last :( And please dont go with the cliches like *theres someone for everyone* *you'll find her when you least expect it*. I've been waiting for that someone for 20 years and im getting rather depressed.
